Volume 2, Issue 2: ‘Trajectories of Modernity: Towards a New Historical-Comparative Sociology’

Like a fine wine, Social Imaginaries journal gets better with age! Fittingly, our fourth issue–with its pinot noir coloured cover–is arguably one of our best. And it is now available for view and purchase!

Guest edited by Jacob Dlamini, Aurea Mota, and Peter Wagner, the issue is titled ‘Trajectories of Modernity: Towards a New Historical-Comparative Sociology’. Johann Arnason’s thought serves as a point of reference for each contribution to the issue, in varying ways; from his intersection of sociological and philosophical sources, to his culturological and civilizational writings within the multiple modernities field, broadly construed.

So, cheers, to our most recent, bumper issue!
